After seeing in the new year with bubbles, a few too many glasses ofcherry spritz and more food than is at all necessary for two people. I'm coming at you from underneath a brand new fuzzy blanket in the perfect nude pink (M&S home always gets me), a hot chocolate to the right, sleeping dog on the left, whist a late saturday lunch is cooking in the kitchen. If this scene doesn't perfectly sum up the last 9 months of my life, no other depiction will. It's been a weird one to say the least, and I for one am ready to look forward with hope that by the end of 2021 I might be allowed to have someone in my house that isn't a member of my household. Maybe I'll have been able to take some kind of vacation too, wouldn't that be wild?
Until then, I'm excited to use my extra time to fill the pages of this website (even more wild). I had planned for this space to get a lot more action in 2020 - we had guides to Brighton penned out, amongst other fashion features, before Covid hit. Sweat pants 24/7 fast became the norm and my guides to Brighton were not only temporarily redundant but now sadly need heavy editing (Polpo you'll forever be in my heart). I'm also getting a little tired of posting to IG stories only to have them be lost to the archives after 24 hours and, let's face it, after rebranding to suziebonaldi.com it would be outrageously rude not to.
So let's give this a go... this month we'll be talking about what to do when a global pandemic throws your plans off track, the best basics to build your 2021 wardrobe with, and my 2021 skincare routine that might be as close to turning back time as I'll ever get (bold claim but that's the vibe for 2021 honey).
If there's anything else you'd like to see then throw it in the comments below! It's good to be back.
Wishing you all a healthy and happy 2021 xx
