I’m calling this the last minute gift guide for those who have everything, when really it was just meant to be a tad more punctual… My bad. But I couldn’t pass up a few suggestions for those who are more tricky to buy for, as both myself and the boyfriend are well known for being these people (I’m slightly easier because really anything from the White Company or Cult Beauty will bring a big old smile to my face).
In terms of stocking fillers, I feel like cute little stationary sets, whether they’re from Kate Spade or the isles of Waterstones will always go down well – you can also tailor the aesthetic of them to the giftee’s taste – so for me it’s pink and white all the way but other’s might like something a bit more monochrome and graphic. It’s also worth checking out my affordable christmas gift guide and beauty baubles post for a little more stocking filler inspiration!
Whoever you’re looking to buy for, what ever the style, I feel like the Whistles Slogan T-Shirt‘s are always a great gift. I cannot tell you how much wear I get from mine and how incredible the quality is – they really are the softest t-shirts in the whole world.
For something a little more luxury, the Victoria’s Secret Satin Pyjamas are truly wonderful, in fact these are my preferred sleepwear sets over my Olivia Von Halle nightwear any day. I love to wear these on a cold night along with my White Company Cashmere Bed Socks which are the dreamiest thing I’ve ever put on my feet. If you are buying for someone who loves their sleepwear or just to be cosy in general I would 100% recommend either of these.
And then we have the ultimate luxury gift for anyone who loves their music or rose gold. The Frends Layla Leather & Rose Gold Headphones are not only my most comfortable set of headphones, but they are just so beautiful too.
When it comes to the boys I sometimes find gifting a little easier, most of the men in my life aren’t overly frivolous and are often in need of new items for their wardrobe. From outerwear like this Navy Rich Wool Overcoat and Premium Navy & Mustard Scarf to this High Neck Navy Jumper – Topshop have a great selection of quality pieces in their premium range that make excellent gifts. I’m also a huge fan (if you hadn’t already noticed) of gifting people the White Company Cashmere Socks and the men in my life are no exception. No one ever thinks they’d want a pair of these until they slip their foot in and then… no going back.
In terms of mens grooming, you really can’t go wrong with anything from the Kiehl’s Skincare Range – the Midnight Recovery Oil is a firm favourite from so many guys I’ve met so that’s always a good place to start if your guy already has cleansing down. For fragrances, anything from Tom Ford is the ultimate great smelling gift – Noir Extreme is my favourite from their mens range, but for something a little more affordable you really can’t go wrong with a Korres fragrance. The Korres Saffron, Amber & Cardamom Fragrance is my all time favourite scent, and when I purchased it for Josh in the summer I was so surprised when he loved it too. (WE FINALLY FOUND THE ONE PEOPLE!)
As far as stocking fillers and novelty gifts go, you really can’t go wrong with the current gifting trend of the season – Star Wars gifts are out in full force in pretty much every store and, seeing as Star Wars is a theme in every Christmas stocking for our family, I couldn’t help but pick up all three of the Star Wars USB Sticks for Josh and his brothers this Christmas. Not to mention this Star Wars Selfie Tee for Josh because he loves a good graphic tee.
