This summer marks my blogs fourth birthday and whilst my head is currently a mess of a million different videos and blog posts the one thing thats really been on my mind is how much I love this space and how it made my life so unbelievably wonderful.
I feel like everyday you see someone calling out all the things that are wrong with the industry, but the really amazing things happen when you focus on what’s right. There are now so many women running their own businesses with complete creative control, producing regular, fresh content – some with standards to rival the pages of editorial magazines. Over the past four years more and more brands have jumped on board and it’s amazing and inspiring to see so many girls around me doing so well and I feel incredibly lucky to call so many other bloggers and YouTubers around me my friends.
I was never very good at making friends at school, but looking back I feel like there just weren’t so many people with similar interests to mine. But blogging introduced me to so many wonderful ladies who just get me and where I’m coming from. I can say things without apologising for being me and I honestly can’t express how grateful I am to have friends who are on my level and who make me feel so comfortable. Aside from them I also have hundreds of thousands of you who all have helped to make me feel completely comfortable with being myself and I can’t thank you enough for that.
And it’s not just self acceptance that you help with. Speaking to thousands of people each week and meeting new people in the street everyday has really helped my confidence. Four years ago I was terrified of meeting someone new and now I LOVE meeting new people and even managed to speak on stage at BeautyCon earlier this year. That was a real teary moment for me and there was a lot of celebratory ice cream.
This space also opened up so many crazy amazing opportunities to me. A few years back I made the decision to make the most of what life had to offer me, anything that came my way I said yes to, even if it was terrifying. There have been moments of fear in the run up to things when I wish I’d said no, but jumping straight in to all the travel opportunities and shoots that came my way always felt so rewarding afterwards. This ethos is one of the reasons why I was able to turn this space in to a business whilst working full time. I did as much as possible with every second of my day and now I’m lucky enough to call this my job.
It’s crazy and most days I do have the WHAT IS MY LIFE moment, there are so few words that really encompass how happy you all have made me. I feel so lucky to be surrounded by so many supportive readers and viewers, whilst having the most supportive and inspiring community around me. The majority of us help each other out every single day, and sometimes I’m actually overwhelmed by the love that so many other bloggers have to give.
I was never very academic at school, and was one of those students that didn’t really seem to have anything going for them – especially when I made the decision not to go to university, so to be running my own business at the age of 23 genuinely makes me a bit emotional and I can’t thank you enough for all of your support (especially through the “sporadic summer” as I’m calling it), each and every one of you reading this have helped change my life and for that there really are no words.
TLDR: Start a blog, it could change your life.
This is such a refreshing post to read in the current sea of negativity about blogging. We should acknowledge more how amazing it is to see young talented women running their own businesses.

I couldn't agree anymore Carly! Love this success story. Gives me hope that I too will look back in four years and feel like I've accomplished something with my writing. Motivating to say the least.
This was so lovely to read Suzie, I think it's fantastic that you're able to run your own business at such a young age, you should be so proud of what you've achieved, your success is 100% down to your hard work (and loveable personality!). Well don on everything that you've achieved so far xxx
I've only just recently discovered your blog after having watched your youtube channel for a while and I adore it! I'm glad that it has changed your life and I'm glad that you continue to find reason to keep with it and produce fresh content! I look forward to following along with the rest of your journey, happy 4 years of blogging!

You deserve everything girl, you are amazing- and thanks to your cheeky slice of the internet I can call you a mate- how lucky am I too? <3 SOPPY
There has been such a negative focus on blogging lately, it was so refreshing to read such positivity! Even on the small scale there is so much to blogging that is life changing. You connect with like minded people and just have your own place to be creative – what could be better?

Congratulations on all of your accomplishments! I hope to be able to write a post similar in the future! I am very surprised by how positive the blogging community is, it is definitely something wonderful to be a part of!

This is such a lovely post, Suzie! I'm glad you're being rewarded for doing what you love and working hard at your passion. Young girls are so easily influenced these days but having hardworking, focused and motivated bloggers and YouTubers such as yourself can be such a positive influence for them. Keep having fun and following your passion! xxx
What a beautiful post! You were actually one of the key people who inspired me to start my own blog six months ago and I'm so glad I did. It's been one of the most challenging but rewarding things I've ever done π Thank you for being such an inspiration to me.

It may sounds weird but it's so nice to see you grow on your channel and online Suzi, it reminds me we all have awkward first moments – we just have to bit the bullet and throw ourselves in π I'm still hoping I bump into and Alix one day in London!

*round of applause* I admire that you took this topic and brought light to the positive aspects of it. More than not people tend to focus on the downsides and yet you brought loveliness to it and I could almost just picture you grinning and typing away. Well done 4 years Suzie and to many more π

Thankyou so much for this post! I feel like you are such a personal blogger/YouTuber that doesn't put on this overly professional front, you're so honest and genuine, and it's great to read a post that's written straight from the heart. I've been deliberating about starting a beauty/fashion/lifestyle blog over the past months and I've been feeling really negative about it but I took the leap today and wrote my first post. It's just a little introduction but I'd love it if you could give it a read, I'm so excited to get more involved in the blogging community after watching from afar for so many years! οΏ½οΏ½οΏ½οΏ½
Blogging also changed my life. I went from drowning in a sea of sadness to a brighter world. I am happier now + my friends also read it now and in the beginning I felt that I had to contain myself but I don't think like that anymore. My blog is my diary and I should be ashamed of it.
P.S. I feel that my friends also like it since they know everything that goes in my mind.

Happy blogiversary! What a sweet and inspiring post. Strangely enough, I found myself at the same position as your old self. Never really good at making friends and lack of confidence, especially in meeting new people. Despite being years older than you now, I am hoping that I, too, can grow as much as you years from now with the space that I just begun π
Thank you for this inspiring and encouraging post. Hope all is gonna be better for you and your blog and channel in years ahead. – xx

This is such an inspiring post Suzie! Even though everyone reading this may not have a blog, it's such a testament to how one should live life to the fullest everyday. Which is an aspect I love about your blog. You're teaching that as women we must believe in ourselves 100% and jump at opportunities that make us essentially bet on ourselves and our capabilities. I haven't followed you for the full four years (coming up on my first year) but I am glad to be a subscriber of yours. Keep up the amazing work!

Such an amazing and inspirational post! I started blogging last year as well, and even though I don't have many followers or anything, I just really enjoy the process itself. I think having a lot of readers is exciting and rewarding, but if that's not what happens, I would be okay with that. To me, it's the creative side that matters as well as the learning process. So I would definitely recommend starting a blog, even just for yourself.
But anyway, congratulations Suzie! I am really happy for you and you definitely deserve all this. You seem like a really genuine and hard working person, and it's amazing to see that your work has been paying off!

My name is SERENA WILLIAMS, am from UK. i want to use this opportunity to thank my great doctor who really made my life a pleasurable one today. This great man DR.EWAN brought my husband back to me, i had three lovely kids for my husband, about four years ago i and my husband has been into one quarrel or the other until he finally left me for one lady. i felt life was over and my kids thought they would never see their father again. i tried to be strong just for the kids but i could not control the pains that torments my heart, my heart was filled with sorrows and pains because i was really in love with my husband. Every day and night i think of him and always wish he would come back to me, until one day i met a good friend of mine that was also in a situation like me but her problem was her ex-boyfriend who she had an unwanted pregnancy for and he refused to take responsibility and dumped her. she told me that mine was a small case and that i should not worry about it at all, so i asked her what was the solution to my problems and she gave me this great man email address. i was doubting if this man was the solution, so i contacted this great man and he told me what to do and i did them all, he told me to wait for just two day and that my husband will come crawling on his kneels just for forgiveness so i faithfully did what this great man asked me to do and for sure after two days i heard a knock on the door, in a great surprise i saw him on his kneels and i was speechless, when he saw me, all he did was crying and asking me for forgiveness, from that day, all the pains and sorrows in my heart flew away, since then i and my husband and our lovely kids are happy.that's why i want to say a big thank you to DR.EWAN spiritual temple. What a beautiful post!
Hi everyone, I'm so excited.
My ex-boyfriend is back after a breakup,Iβm extremely happy that will are living together again.
My name is Mary Wilkie from England.
My boyfriend of a 4yr just broke up with me and am 30 weeks pregnant.I have cried my self to sleep most of the nights and donβt seem to concentrate during lectures sometimes I stay awake almost all night thinking about him and start to cry all over again.Because of this I end up not having energy for my next dayβs classes ,my attendance has dropped and am always in uni and on time.Generally he is a very nice guy ,he ended it because he said we were arguing a lot and not getting along. He is right weβve been arguing during the pregnancy a lot .After the break up I kept ringing him and telling him I will change.I am in love with this guy and he is the best guy I have ever been with.Iβm still hurt and in disbelief when he said he didnβt have any romantic feelings towards me anymore that hurt me faster than a lethal syringe. He texts me now and then mainly to check up on how am doing with the pregnancy,he is supportive with it but itβs not fair on me, him texting me as I just want to grieve the pain and not have any stress due to the pregnancy.i was really upset and i needed help, so i searched for help online and I came across a website that suggested that Dr Unity can help solve marital problems, restore broken relationships and so on. So, I felt I should give him a try. I contacted him and he told me what to do and i did it then he did a spell for me. 28 hours later, my bf came to me and apologized for the wrongs he did and promise never to do it again. Ever since then, everything has returned back to normal. I and my bf are living together happily again.. All thanks to Dr Unity. If you have any problem contact Dr.Unity now and i guarantee you that he will help you.Email him at:( Unityspelltemple@gmail.com ),you can also call him or add him on Whats-app: ( +2348071622464 ),His website: http://unityspelltemple.yolasite.com .
