Happy Sunday Folks! We all know by now this weekly slot is usually reserved for some form of breakfast/brunchy goodness and today is no exception. This week I visited an old favourite food haunt of mine. When ever anyone asks me for a list of Brighton brunch recommendations I always include Cafe Coho. It’s often overlooked for the likes of Marwoods and Bill’s, but the food is delicious, the service always on point and the decor is perfectly to my taste – a little rustic without feeling too derelict. There are actually two in Brighton, one by the station and one on ship street. Both allow dogs too and for that I’m always a fan.
This week I had brunch with my friend Liv after deciding that we needed some pancakes in our lives (read: bellies) and opted for the fresh berry pancakes. I’m normally a bacon maple syrup kind of girl, but these were so delicious and felt really light and a little more healthy than my usual choice. I’m pretty sure the berries change dependant on season and stock which should make repeat orders in the future that little bit more exciting.
After lunch we took a wander through the lanes (covering our eyes and pretending the likes of MAC and Kiehls didn’t exist for our wallets sake!) to work off our rather large breakfasts. I’d like to say things are going to be a little more healthier around here due to the upcoming summer holidays, but we still have a tonne of cake and eggs in the house from easter and I hear that The Breakfast Club are going to be showing their face in Brighton very soon… No chance.

I never knew Cafe Coho had a shop in Ship street as well. I'm always put off the one by the station as it is always so busy but I will have to take a visit to this one.
