It’s very rare that I’m in London overnight – especially not with central accommodation – so when I am there’s one place that I love to get up early for. The Good Life Eatery is one of the best places to eat when it comes to a super healthy but tasty breakfast. Whether green juices and breakfast bowls are your thing, or smoothies and peanut butter cups, there’s a little something for everyone.
Last week I went for breakfast with my friend Holly, who had the breakfast bowl, including yoghurt, granola, raspberries, blueberries and a few other bits. I had what I think is called “so fresh, so clean” (something along those lines) which included a poached egg, quinoa, sweet potato and kale, with a Choc Norris smoothie and peanut butter cups for later!
I pray that something like this will pop up locally in Brighton soon. There are similar, but nowhere that’s go it right like the Good Life has.
My only gripe is the lack of seating, but I’m sure there will be more to come in the future. Next time you’re in the area, be sure to get up early and grab a table, or prepare for a long wait! I often get a juice and peanut butter cups to take home with me if I swing by in the afternoon. In all seriousness, I’ve mentioned the peanut butter cups three times already but they are incredible – I need the recipe for these pronto!
