Last week I was whisked away to the Beaumont Hotel for an overnight stay and dinner at The Arts Club, courtesy of Esteé Lauder. Being a nervous traveller and a total home bunny I very rarely make it to launches unless I have a buddy coming with me, but an overnight stay means avoiding the Brighton Mainline at night (it’s not dangerous, per say, but strange things happen. I think there was once a Facebook page dedicated to things that happen on the Brighton Mainline) and avoids travelling so late, so I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to spend an evening with one of my favourite brands.
I know, that’s a strong statement there, but they really are when you think about the amount of their products that I use religiously. I didn’t snap much of dinner as I think they’re quite strict on the photos their, but I did vlog a teeny bit! The menu at The Arts Club is awesome, I must worm my way back in soon for some more of the chocolate pudding.
And my stay at The Beaumont? Well, it is one of my favourite hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in so far, (other favourites include the K West, London, Hotel Indigo (Edinburgh) and Barcelo Santiago for (Tenerife) for it’s views!), 1920’s vibes with the most stunning marble bathroom and heated floors quickly cemented it’s place there.
My outfit is an mixture of my current favourite items in my wardrobe: The ASOS Cold Shoulder top, Topshop Joni Jeans, ASOS Heels (I’ve worn them three times in the past three weeks – this never happens). I also carried an old Ubran Outfitters black clutch and snubbed my coat as we were lucky enough to have cars take us to and from the venue (one of the many reasons why I need my own car in my life this year). My makeup was an amped up version of my usual going out makeup which I posted about earlier this week.
Definitely one of the more “WHAT IS MY LIFEEE” posts that I have on here. I felt extremely blessed and couldn’t not take a bazillion photos as a reminder. The bathroom mirror was also lit from all angles (the best lighting I’ve ever experienced), so I took more than a few selfies too…
