What I Got For Christmas 2014

After numerous requests for a video on my Christmas gifts, I decided to do a blog post as it would be less than five minutes and mostly consist of books and candles. I find the older you get the more your gifts become little pricey things you can’t normally justify, or gifts that you put off buying over and over because they can’t be found in the isles of your local Boots. And then there’s the chocolates, but those boxes didn’t hang around long enough for me to photograph.

Aside from getting a re-stock of my favourite Christmas candle from this year (thanks Mum), she also popped the White Company Wild Mint Candle in my stocking – a welcome addition seeing as it’s been on my “to buy” list for an age now.

And then there’s the REN Flash Rinse 1 Minute Facial that I’ve been wanting for a while and two books I’ve been meaning to get my hands on for a while – Eat Pretty and Not that Kind Of Girl. I’m looking forward to my long train journey on Saturday morning so that I can start reading one of these!

What did you get for Christmas?

Diptique Mini Spice Candle

REN Flash Rinse 1 Minute Facial

White Company Wild Mint Candle

Eat Pretty

Not That Kind Of Girl

I experince the thing with the older you get the more your presents change too, even though I am only sixteen I get much less for Christmas nowadays, but usually these few are more pricey and things I have wanted for a long time πŸ™‚

Both of those books look really interesting, the problem with seeing what other people got for Christmas is that you then want it yourself! x

I agree with what you said about gifts as you get older – I got a fair few beauty bits, and they were all things I wouldn't have been able to justify buying for myself. My favorite was probably the rose gold Zoeva brush set! Lovely post and photography as usual!
