If you’re a regular round here you might have noticed that things get mighty busy during October. One way or another Hello October takes over my life and I’m totally okay with that. Like I said in my last post for Live in Levi’s – blogging is my thing. Whether it’s meetings, editing, writing or running across town in attempt to be in three places at once (what I wouldn’t give to own a time turner). More than anything I like to be comfortable – not in a slobby kind of way, but more “I’ve made an effort, but things are still looking more on the effortless side” kind of vibe.
Living in Brighton, the Levi’s trucker jacket is part of the daily uniform. I’d been after a light blue wash for years as they are the staple round here with bare legs and pretty dresses in the summer and thick tights and oversized clothing in the winter – paired with a perfectly worn pair of sneakers, messy hair and a backpack – you’re golden. This is my dressing philosophy for casual coffee meetings and it never lets me down.
For long train journeys, or running across town like a headless chicken, the Levi’s 501 jean are where it’s at. The boyfriend fit jeans have become a particular favourite of mine as they give room for movement and allow me to sit in weird and wonderful positions whilst editing on the train. They look amazing with a simple pair of flats, ugly sandals and winter chelsea boots. I pair with a black crop top and consider myself ready to roll.
On the odd occasion where I have a down day. I like to be next level comfortable. Slippers and shirt kind of comfortable. The Levi’s Western Shirts are the go to for next level comfort. I’ve spent far too long editing, photographing and snaffling chocolates in my bedroom whilst wearing mine (and have the chocolate stains to prove it – oops).
The Live in Levi’s® project invites everyone the world over to contribute their own real-life Levi’s® story using the hashtag #LiveInLevis. This could be an image, or series of images that says it all or a post that gives a bit more depth. See what other people have shared at www.levi.com/liveinlevis
