We moved over two months ago now, and one of the first things we realised after moving was how lovely the parks nearby were. We spent a lot of time wandering around them, gawping at other peoples dogs and feeling like something was seriously missing. Of course that something was a little fluffy of our own, and now an evening stroll through the park is our daily ritual. It’s especially relaxing if you’ve had a bad day, and now we have a new lead for Nala, watching her run and prance in the grass (without us having to dash after her) is the most heart warming thing.
I look especially dolled up in these photos considering we’re walking round the park, but it was outfit photo day. Normally you’ll find me in my pyjamas and vans with my hair resembling some form of birds nest. So classy.
Keeping that mental image in mind – that’s exactly how I look today – we have a day full of building ikea furniture ahead and with all our clothes in one giant floordrobe until our bedroom has been put back together, I couldn’t get dressed if I wanted to!

Aww, your new little family member is adorable! I definitely miss not having a dog since I moved out of home (a few years ago mind you), but home definitely feels more like home since I got my beautiful little kitten (not so much a kitten as a cat now).
