Hey, it’s that girl who’s been nothing less than tardy with her blog content of late *looks guilty*. I’ve been really struggling to find the time to get anything done since moving, and I’ve been struggling a fair bit with anxiety over the past couple of weeks – I genuinely think that running H.O keeps me so busy that those feelings are usually pushed aside. I’m not at all sure that’s the healthy way to tackle these feelings, but I am keen to get back on the H.O horse.
One thing Josh and I have been doing once a week is going for a walk round our local parks. There’s one place in particular with beautiful stepping stone and waterfalls where my mum took me once as a child (for photo opportunities – I really have come full circle!) and I love it. I feel completely peaceful there, and when I’m feeling a little crazy on the weekends we sit there and chat. Relaxing isn’t even the word.
I say that, but when I decided we should shoot my new Olive Clothing dress there I did meet the most giant bee – at least I think it was a bee – I’ve never seen anything like it. Check my twitter for the photo Josh snapped of my face and thank me later…
I’d been after a few pieces from Olive for a long while now, so when their beautifully packaged smock dress landed on my desk I was pretty thrilled. It’s a great length, even on my tiny frame, as it comes to around two inches above my knee. I love this length for summer as i feel completely comfortable with bare legs. It doesn’t show too much skin but is still at a length that’s flattering on my figure.
