The Overnight Facial

When one of my favourite serums by Estee Lauder (you know the one…) bit the dust, I had a choice – try the Sarah Chapman Overnight Facial or repurchase the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair. I decided to opt for something new and headed over to the Sarah Chapman section in Space NK. The Skinesis Overnight Facial fell into my basket in the usual “accidentally-on-purpose” fashion and I’ve been giving it a good whirl over the past month.

Considering I spent hours of my life mulling over which serum to get, it feels pretty ironic that the results of the two are incredibly similar. They both have a plumping effect and leave the skin looking far more radiant and youthful that I feel when I roll out of bed at 7am. I apply this one after my cleanser/toner (depending on whether I feel like using a toner… It’s one of those steps) and then sandwich it all in with my moisturiser. In terms of texture it feels like a very fine oil – almost like a serum/oil hybrid (after writing this I actually checked the Space NK website and “serum-oil” is actually in the product description – 10 points to me), it sinks in quickly and smells like there’s a party on your face.

It’s safe to say I like this one a lot, I pop it on every other evening and try not to think about the £45 price tag… It’s worth it for a glowing complexion right?

£45 may be just a tad too steep for me but nevertheless, it sounds lovely! Christmas list maybe? 😀

Well, it may be expensive, but the whole bottle is cheaper than one decent facial, so not too bad when you think of it like that 🙂

I'm really keen on trying this, especially since I was a fan of EL ANR–the price just got me and I couldn't be so dependent on it. It is ironic, though, that this one may beat it in price; oh, well. xo

Sounds amazing but eek, £45 is so expensive, I'm worried I'd get addicted and have to keep repurchasing!

I like to think of quality over quantity with skincare, it helps with the guilt 😉

I really want to try this product, but the fact that you said it's very similar to Estee Lauder's Advanced Night Repair makes me feel a little less anxious to get it.
Might save my money for something else like the cleansing balm from the range or one of Omorvicza's new releases.

I really want to try this but think I'll save it for when my EL ANR also bites the dust rather than have two similar products – really trying to cut down having loads of products that do the same job and actually declutter and use things up!
