Beauty Packing: Paris

Packing for Paris wasn’t the usual travel scenario of carefully curating a travel sized bag full of the perfect minis and decanted products that were perfectly appropriate for 24 hours in Paris. No, it was rather thrown together, and I basically shoved everything I’ve been loving – and then a few new travel friendly pieces – in to my favourite compact makeup bag and forsaking my current skincare routine for one night of Pai minis.

Despite this, everything was used, my makeup was so minimal that I was ready in 10 minutes and my skin didn’t look too shabby considering the break in consistency. I’ve popped the full run down of the beauty packing for you below, but more than anything the real gem here is the clear makeup bag. No more than 5cm in depth, you can just about fit one face of makeup in here. It limits over packing and allows you to see the contents without having to unzip and face an avalanche of perfectly packed in products – helloooo travel friendly! Sadly it doesn’t fit brushes (although it can, I just chose to pack in a blush and extra lip crayon instead) but that’s what the ben holder section in your handbag is for, let’s face it…

Makeup:

  • Khiels Micro Blur Skin Perfecter*
  • Nars Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser
  • Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer
  • Origins Plantscription Concealer
  • YSL Touche Eclat*
  • Topshop Stick Blush
  • Clinique Superfine Liner For Brows*
  • Benefit Gimme Brow*
  • Collection Fast Stroke Liquid Liner
  • Lights Camera Lashes Mascara by Tarte*
  • Liz Earl Natural Radiance Bronzer*
  • Revlon Colourburst Matte Balm (Complex)

Skincare:

  • Pai Skincare Minis – Gentle Hydrating Cleanser // Sensitive Skin Cream // Hydrating Day Moisturiser
  • Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Mini
  • Liz Earl Muslin Cloth – I always take muslin cloths over flannels when I travel. They dry super quickly so you don’t have to worry about packing them wet.

Ah I'm always the one to throw my beauty products together last minute (though that can end in some serious overpacking). It seems like you packed the perfect amount for a quick trip–and I'm also super jealous haha, I love Paris!

I tend to over pack because I alway think, what if I'll need it? I guess if you limit yourself to a smaller makeup bag you have to think what's more important and not. Lovely picks, I'm jealous I wish I could do a quick trip to Paris!

I think clear makeup bags are really useful! I tend to dig through my makeup when I travel and it's a hassle to put it all back in. I should get a clear one for myself too and with a clear bag, you can't be lazy but to keep it clean so it'll look good plus your makeup are hygienic at the same time ๐Ÿ˜€
