Most Loved: From Space NK

I remember back in the day, before Hello October even existed, I hear people talking about the one magical shop in town that sold Nars products. Their blush in the shade Gina was my first ever Space NK purchase and six blushes later I decided to expand my limited Space NK knowledge and ventured onto other brands in the store. The makeup side of things is truly drool-worthy, but it’s the skincare and haircare section that really makes my eyes fall out…

Living Proof Prime Style Extender:
Once I discovered this I stopped being afraid of cutting my hair. The only product that keeps my hair straight through wind and rain. How? I couldn’t possibly tell you, but it also extends the “between washes” period too. Living proof are seriously under rated – by the end of 2014 I want at least half of my haircare routine to be LP. Challenge set. But what about the other half?…

Oribe Maximista Thickening Spray: Oh Oribe. The other half of my dream hair care routine. Their Maximista Thickening Spray is the cream of my current crop when it comes to post-wash hair products. a light sprit all over and a blast with the hairdryer really do give the “wow” effect once you flip your hair the right way up.

Oribe Dry Texturising Spray: And the award for most expensive little can of product goes to… Oribe, obviously. It’s just so darn good.  I’ll be testing out a few more affordable versions over the next few months until I have enough spare dollar to accidentally push this into my Space NK basket.

Nude Miracle Mask: An exfoliating mask AND scrub – sounds like it should rip your face to shreds, doesn’t it? Fortunately my face is still in tact and I whip this bad boy out when my skin is looking seriously dull. I start off by gently massaging the mask with it’s tiny beads into my skin, and then leave for a few minutes to let the chemical exfoliant part work it’s magic. It’s not cheap, so this one’s strictly for emergencies, but is something I love having in my stash.

Kevyn Aucoin Sculpting Powder: Oh hello cheekbones. I’ll be the first to raise my hand and admit that I’m not exactly lacking in the cheekbone department, but I’m not quite there either. The Sculpting Powder is an ashy brown powder – no warm tones here what so ever – perfect for creating a natural looking shadow. Love, love, love.

Oh and the sneaky extra? The Laura Mercier Signature Scent in Warm Roasted Chestnuts. Next time Christmas rolls around order yourself one – you’ll thank me.

Every time anyone talks about Oribe products it makes me want them more and more, but the pricing isn't the cheapest which puts me off.
    Lovely post!

I can never tell if not having Oribe here in Australia is a good or a bad thing…I think when it comes down to it, if I hear enough good raves, I will cave and spend countless dollars on postage to get it here in my hands, and that right there is just dangerous. All in the name of beauty, eh?

And I may just pick up that Living Proof Style Extender, that sounds like exactly what I need 🙂

I really enjoyed this post Suzie! Despite not being able to walk past a store without walking in I haven't actually bought anything from Space NK before as I tend to do most of my beauty shopping online!

Great post! Unfortunately most things in Space NK are a bit out of my budget ): love the look of the Kevyn Aucoin sculpting powder, but think I'll go for Illamasqua's 'Hollow' cream pigment as a more affordable option to contour (:
