Last week Josh and I spent a very grey afternoon walking around Brighton, grabbing a coffee and just generally jabbering away at each other. Before we set off I slipped on my new boots from ASOS in hopes that they wouldn’t be too hard to break in (i’m pleased to announce they weren’t!). The odds seemed to be ever in my favour for this purchase; after having sent them back once for being slightly too small (am I a four, or a five? I’ll never know), they were put into the sale and I promptly repurchase them and treated myself to a little something else whilst I was there. Who needs to be quids in anyway?
These are the perfect winter flat for me, as last years military boots look too out of place with my more structured winter wardrobe, and although I love being a good 2/3 inches taller I can’t hack the heel everyday. I’d been promising myself for over a year that i’d invest in some chelsea boots but hated the ankle grazing rim of the boot, so when I saw these came up a little higher than usual I was sold. I have such a good feeling about these I’m tempted to buy a second pair…
And how would a style post be complete without throwing in a few Zara offerings? A little less predictable is probably the answer, but old habits die hard. My coat was from their 2012 winter collection, but similar ones have still been seen all over the place this year, and as for the bag, well apparently it’s been seen in the sale in stores (typical) – get down to your local Zara and thank me later.
