The Sunday Post: Hello London

After a week of working my way through countless episodes of Scandal and Homeland and having my second hair cut in two weeks, I gladly packed my bags and headed for the big smoke to spend a couple of days with Luce. When I mentioned this was happening on Friday morning a few of you were interested to see what we got up to, so I made sure my trusty Canon came along for the ride. Not only did I raid her skincare stash (more on that next week, but oh boy is it good) and cry over her amazingly pinterest-able bathroom and room with a view, I also made sure we stuffed ourselves with as much food as physically possible. And I can confirm that our mission was most definitely accomplished.

Yesterday morning we went to The Breakfast Club, one of my favourite London food haunts that I’m forever forgetting to photograph. We went to the Spitafields branch, neatly tucked away just a few minutes from Liverpool Street Station. I was possibly the hungriest I’d ever been and ordered the Elvis Shake (vanilla ice cream, banana and peanut butter) and the berry pancakes (complete with strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and vanilla cream) which are the sweetest pancakes I think I’ve ever eaten and definitely the best so far.

We also made pitstops at MAC, & Other Stories and Liberties, and I may have come away with a few good purchases (guess who’s eating beans on toast every day this month?). What’s even better than spending two days with Luce? I’m back on Wednesday. See you again soon London!

My best friend lives in Clapham and I need to go visit her soon. I think I'll make her take me to the Breakfast Club as I keep on seeing people talking about it on their posts. Those pancakes look delicious too – it's 9:30am on Sunday morning and I'm having to use all my willpower not to take myself into my kitchen and whip up a batch now!!
