Am I the only one who thinks Nars related blog posts should come with a warning? You can be sure that after I read any post containing the word Nars – a purchase will be made. After a peruse of Alix’s blog a few weeks back I decided that the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer and Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser had to make their way off my shopping list and into my stash.
The concealer reminds me of a more luxury version of the Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer, but without the caky-ness and a slightly more illuminating finish. I use the shade Custard (Yes, I was overjoyed that I wasn’t matched to Vanilla – the shade that is forever out of stock) and it works brilliantly on both under eye circles and blemishes and stays put rather well throughout the day. Safe to say it’s a goodie and is now in regular rotation in my makeup stash, but the real stand out – the tinted moisturiser.
It gives a beautiful luminous and almost satin finish, with just enough coverage to get me by on an okay skin day. The shade range is surprisingly vast for a tinted moisturiser range, with shades to match both pink and yellow skin tones. You can also apply it with fingers or a brush and the result isn’t too dissimilar (but ever so slightly more on the flawless side when using a buffing brush as you would expect).
And here’s the bit where I open up the floor to you guys. I’m feeling spendy, so make sure you list your Nars favourites in the comments! What do I NEED? I’ll be here, note pad and pen at the ready…
