Beauty Packing: London Bound

I ended up doing more travelling than I ever really expected last year. I wasn’t flying around the world, but it definitely wasn’t me in my bunny slippers, with a cup of tea watching Eastenders either. So going forward, I do solemnly swear (that I am up to no good? Always. But no…) that I will empty the contents of my makeup bag out – in an organised neatly fashion – and show you guys what’s coming with me.

As with most one night-er packing scenarios, i’ll more than likely wear more makeup than this up to London. I’m staying with Luce and will either be too lazy for a lot of makeup tomorrow morning, or I’ll end up stealing hers – any takers as to which one? I digress. You can never go wrong with a tinted moisturiser, and I’m loving the Nars Pure Radient Tinted Moisturiser at the moment. A full review is on it’s way, but to seriously sum things up: I like. A lot. I’m still quite dry around the eye area so the Origins Planscription concealer is coming along, as well as the YSL Touche Eclat for some extra glow giving.

For eyes I’m packing the Clinique High Impact mascara for a subtle but defined flutter to my lashes and the L’Oreal Super Liner, just incase I fancy going the extra mile (unlikely, but you never know). As always with brows, the Clinique Superfine Liner for Brows is coming along for the ride, as well as my Kevyn Aucoin eyelash curlers. For lips it will most likely be a swipe of the Nuxe Reve De Miel lip balm, but just incase, the Nars Velvet Matte lip pencil in Red Square has been packed. It’s so long lasting that I can be sure it will see me through the endless eating I tend to do whenever I visit Luce.

So I’m off to the big smoke once again, and this is just the first of a few overnighters i’ll be doing this month (next weeks could be very interesting indeed). You know I’m sure as hell making a pit-stop at Libertys, so tell me – what should I pick up?

I'm desperately searching for that Marc by Marc Jacobs watch and I've hit a wall. The web link in your New Years Outfit post works, but the picture of the watch looks slightly different to the actual watch in your photos. I'm just wondering if it's in fact the same watch or a different make or something like that, and which size it is also (the 28mm or the 36.5mm).

    THANKS!!

    xx

Hi Liv, it's the exact watch I linked to on the E.J website. I'm not sure what you mean by "which size" though as on the page I linked to I can't see a size option, sorry! x

Great list! Not too many products, only essentials. Mine was sooo long and my make up bag was so heavy when I finished packing. I wish I've read your article first. It was a short move I was preparing for and I took tons of luggage with me, a great mistake.Greets!
