After a noticeable change in my skins behaviour over the last two months I decided to take the plunge and work towards switching up my skincare routine. I’d been settled in the same routine for a good six months, so with the colder weather setting in and my skin going a bit mental, I took it as the perfect time to test out some new products. Enter: Pai.
After being on my radar for some time, they got in touch a few weeks back and kindly sent over the Kukui & Jojoba Bead Skin Brightening Exfoliator*. I use two pumps of product, massage it in and remove with a clean flannel – hello brighter, smoother skin. I love this as it’s so natural and gentle I don’t worry about the exfoliating beads damaging or irritating my skin like others have done in the past. With that slotting nicely into my skincare routine I turned to them for the rest of my skincare shake up,
Although reviews of products are in abundance in the blogging world, it’s still difficult to take the plunge when it comes to investing in new products, so when I saw the trial sample set on the Pai website I was sold. Five tiny pounds for six samples, free delivery and a muslin cloth? Possibly the biggest no-brainer ever. They should totally call it “try before you Pai”… (bet i’m not the first once to suggest that!?)
The kit contains:
The trail skincare set arrived in two days of ordering and although I was apprehensive about loving everything in the set (my skin is a stickler for not loving cleansing milks and rose scented moisturisers), my temperamental and angry skin was instantly soothed and hydrated and is currently sporting the most amazing glow even after around two weeks of use (I noticed a difference after around two days though)!
So what will I be purchasing in full? The Camellia and Rose Hydrating Cleanser is top of my list, followed by the Chamomile and Rosehip Sensitive Skin Cream and the Avocado and Jojoba Hydrating Day Cream. They work really well alongside my Balance Me Radiance Face Oil and Hydraluron (two of my faves!). The only thing I’m missing now is a hydrating multi use balm. If you have any suggestions for this, high end or budget then please let me know – winter is coming and it’s bringing my random dry patches with it!

Neal's Yard Wild Rose Beauty Balm is really good, but I wouldn't use it if you're sensitive to rose oil products. π
weleda is really nice especial the 'skinfood cream' but only recommend it for try patches not for the hole face could be too much, but the cream is really nice and organic π

I didn't know that Pai offered a trial kit. I've been wanting to try their products out after reading amazing reviews by many, especially on their facial oil, but have been putting it off. I think I'll go order myself a kit as well π
