Jo Malone: Peony & Blush Suede

When Jo Malone’s latest release landed on my doorstep there was an “ahhhhhhhh” moment – no, I wasn’t scared, think more of the angels singing kind of “ahhhh” – the kind of moment that indicates I’m going to love something. Why? Well, as if I wasn’t already sold on the luxe packaging of the dainty little sample, the smell was guaranteed to reel me in. Hock, line and sinker. Peony and Blush Suede* is the most beautiful and sophisticated floral scent and has become a permanent fixture in my daily routine.

I’m useless at describing scents, so I’ve made use of everything the copy and paste function has to offer from the Jo Malone website (I jest, I’ve changed it a little):

Top Note: Red Apple
Description – “A crisp note that captures the mouth-watering juiciness of apple, opening the fragrance with a fruity twist.”

Heart Note: Peony

Description – “An exquisite floral with delicate rose and honey accents and a subtle, green freshness. Fills the fragrance with the scent of peonies.

Base Note: Suede
Description – “A supple textural note that complements the floral opulence of peony and brings sensuality to the fragrance.

I think the full size is definitely one for the Christmas list – you listening Mum?…

This is a gorgeous scent – floral, but light and fruity at the same time. This for me is a modern classic! Xx
