This year I made a style-related promise to myself – in addition to not flashing a ridiculous amount of leg (or even bum cheek in some cases) unless i’m in my garden – I wanted to invest in a few cute summer dresses, and maybe get round to wearing some of the ones I already own. With a few of last years dresses being cracked out more than once recently, I felt it was acceptable to purchase a new one, and when I saw this red Primark number on Lily’s blog I was straight on to ASOS.
It’s a little long, so at the moment I’m shortening it at the waist and holding it in with a belt, but the wonder web may come out to play once i’ve decided on the ideal length, as it really does look best without a belt. I actually think this will work quite nicely come autumn time (or maybe even just next week with the crazy UK summer) with my trusty leather jacket, some thick tights and maybe even a nude jumper thrown on top. So for £13, it was more than worth the money.
Let me know if you like these kinds of videos as I’d love to do a few more – I’ll have to practise my video posing first though as I don’t think I quite have that in the bag yet!
