The Re-purchase: Nuxe Reve De Miel Lip Balm

With the amount of repurchases that have taken place
recently, it would seem I’m becoming somewhat of a beauty granny – settled in
my ways… almost. I have my eye on a few new releases  but this weekend I stuck to the
priority purchase: The Nuxe Reve De Miel lip balm.

It’s one of those marmite-ish products as I’ve met so many
people who cannot stand the stuff, but for me it keeps my lips super hydrated,
lasts longer than any other lip balm I’ve owned and helps to prevent my facial
eczema (which for those who have been asking recently is a condition brought on
by certain ingredients in highly pigmented lipstick. This used to be a regular
occurrence on my face before I discovered this as it seems to create a barrier
between my lips and any products applied over it.

In the spring and autumn months, when the temperature is
less extreme I tend to apply this twice a day (morning and evening), but during
the very cold/hot months, it’s applied around four times a day. I purchased my
first tub back in November, and am only just finishing out the last drops this
week. With over half a years worth of use for a £9 product, it’s far better
than going through a tube a month of a mediocre drugstore lip balm that is far
less effective.

My first tub was picked up in Paris whilst I was there with
work, but my most recent tub fell into my hands during last weekends trip to
Space NK. I may be broke, but at least I’m not without it, and I now have a
cute little travel sized tub to decant my skincare into on my weekend away next
week. Ever the optimist…

I think I'll have to purchase this for when I'm studying abroad in England. I'm travelling quite a bit and I think this sounds amazing for keeping hydrated on long flights.

I love this balm, I kind of bought it because of the hype, but I'm so glad I did! I kind of can't wait to use mine up so I can keep the little bottle, is that weird?

I adore this, yes it seems expensive initially but after buying so many lip balms in the past that don't really work I think it is more than worth it 🙂

I'm definitely going to purchase this once I know where it's cheapest to get it. I've found it priced slightly differently in different stores around Canada now so I'm going to do my research and then finally make the purchase!

Probably my favourite lip balm ever – it really works when you have super chapped lips. The thick texture does take a bit of getting used to though! x

I always see this in Marks and Spencers and think "I'll pick this up next time" but never do! I'm in desperate need for a new lip balm though and I've heard so many good things about this.

I am looking a lip balm that actually works, and all the ones I have tried that seem okay are around the same price mark. There is nothing worse than dry lips so I think its very much worth the money!

I need to pick the tube of this little gem up, but I cant find it in Space NK! The pot gives me shivers, nothing worse than when products get stuck under your talons… makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up!
