The past few weeks have been a whirlwind of amazing and awful, we’ve put a deposit down on a flat and are waiting for the all clear and our moving dates, but i’ve also been to the doctors more times than I can count on a single hand (part of the reason why I’ve been a little absent over here). This has brought me to two conclusions – firstly I need to start looking after myself more and secondly, my skin cannot cope with antibiotics. I’ve taken to a wheat and artificial sugar free diet – not as hard as it sounds as long as you cook for yourself. My breakfast of choice has been wheat free Muesli with fruit and natural fat free yoghurt, it’s super yummy and actually fills me up. As usual, green tea becomes my hot drink of choice during any detox. To help my crazy skin out, I’ve gone back to using the good ol’ Origins Out of Trouble mask – holy grail stuff right here. It calms breakouts and leaves them far smaller than they were originally, it’s also really soothing which is great if your skin is sore or inflamed. The Liz Earl Instant Boost Skin Tonic has also been helping to soothe my sore skin. In the mornings when my skin has been lacking a little something, or i’ve been feeling a bit ill, a light dose of the Caudalie Beauty Elixir helps me get back on track.
You may notice that this blog looks a little different today? Don’t worry if you haven’t, we’re talking baby steps when it comes to changes. But my boyfriend added in a slider to show recent posts and we’ve changed the brown buttons along the navigation bar to white. It looks a little bit cleaner now which makes me a very happy lady. He’s also currently making me scrambled eggs, so he’s racking up some serious boyfriend points this weekend.
This week I also decided (finally) on my outfit for my boyfriends graduation. I ordered a lovely blazer with a neon pink trim to pair with a white shirt and jeans. I literally cannot wait to see him in a funny hat! A style post will be up in the next few weeks on this, but for a glimpse of the blazer you can check out this months haul video which will be going up this evening!

A new discovery this week has been the lovely Jen from JennyPurr. I love discovering new blogs and has a good read though upon finding hers! I can feel this one making it’s way into the Blogroll…
This week I’ve also been loving Hannahs blog posts on A Red Lip Never Dates. She recently went to dubai (and had such a fabulous time that i’m green with envy!) and documented her outfits whilst she was there. She’s currently rocking a killer figure and her holiday outfits are just beaut! If you’re going on holiday she does holiday style like no other.
This next one is an ode to a girl I’ve sent more texts to than my battered iphone can cope with. Luce from Bonjour Luce is just awesome and I speak to her pretty much every day. She’s also looking stunning in her review of the Bourjois Bronzing Primer.
In addition to the current diet revamp that is taking place in my life at the moment (let me know if you would like to see posts about it?), I’ve been loving Gemma’s Food Diary on her blog. It’s really great if you’re looking for healthier meal inspiration.
I'm sorry you've been poorly ! Hope you're feeling better now. Lovely post ! xo

I'm huge fan of Greek yoghurt, berries and honey for breakfast. So healthy, but so yummy! Try adding honey and lemon to your green tea as they help your immune system too. I drink it religiously even when I'm not sick! A little ginger gives a nice flavour and also very good for you. I've recently just moved out of home and I'm adoring Gemma's blog for food ideas. I definitely don't want to resort to frozen meals every night for dinner, haha.
I absolutely adore Liz Earle Skin Tonic! Not many people seem to use Liz Earle products anymore, but they're such a staple in my skincare routine. You can't go wrong with Caudalie Beauty Elixir either. At first I didn't see the hype, but now I'm addicted to this stuff! Definitely lives up to the hype.
