Only two days this weekend? Le sigh. I’ve had a month of four day weeks due to annual leave and bank holidays. I think I’ve been a little spoilt. However spring is now upon us and work is beginning to get very busy again – most people would want to run a mile at the thought of a massive workload, but I do genuinely love being ridiculously busy!
01. If you follow me on either Instagram or Twitter you will have definitely heard me chatter on about my new love for all things varsity (I hold my most recent guest blogger, Hannah, fully responsible for this), so on Friday I made a cheeky payday purchase and ordered a blue varsity jacket from Topshop. It arrived on Saturday morning and I haven’t taken it off since – well, aside from when i’m sleeping obviously 😉
02. On reflection the past week was rather busy, full of meetings, seeing friends, but most importantly – good TV! We waved good bye to The Walking Dead, and Welcomed Game of Thrones and Doctor Who with open arms – both so good! Matt Smith is just the perfect Saturday evening viewing if you ask me…
03. This week has also been a very good post week – including my latest new beauty read – Kevyn Aucoin’s Making Faces. A very old beauty read but still super gorgeous and interesting. Once I’ve finished flicking through I will report back with my thoughts!
04. I’m undecided on whether to have a big old splurge when shopping today or to be reserved and just pick up a few things. With the boyfriends birthday coming up this month, things could get pretty spendy rather quickly!
Before I go I thought I’d share a few posts from this week that I’ve really loved:
Kate from Ghostparties and Emma and Elsie from A Beautiful Mess have helped me to continue with the spring cleaning action for a second week on the go. I just love having a tidy room now, and having a peek around other bloggers homes or reading tips has definitely helped me to stay on track and my room has been looking so much better for it!
Anna’s ever growing love for Cult Beauty has finally driven me over to the dark side – I’m screaming for someone to take my card away STAT!
And of course, how could I not mention the lovely Rosie a.k.a The Londoners 100 Calorie Brownies?! I’ll eat every single one in one sitting so the concept is beyond me but OH BOY do these babies look good! I feel a baking sesh coming on…

I love Game of Thrones! I'm currently battling with myself as to whether I should read more of the books – I've read just the first two as I like being surprised for the tv show but I'm terrified of reading spoilers! Should I just go ahead and read the books? The tv show is going to take years to catch up! xx
