The Sunday Post: Packing Up

If there were a word to describe this weekend it would be “blergh” – ill again and the weather well and truly sucks – must remember to eat my greens! Upsides to the weekend? Ticking off a few items from my wishlist and introducing the boyfriend to New Girl!

After a super early wake up call this morning to make my mumma breakfast for mothers day, I packed up half my life and moved into my friends house – I’m looking after her kitties whilst she’s on holiday. Above are just a few of the things I wasn’t leaving without. With a few new skincare additions over the past month, things might start to get a bit skin-centric over the next few weeks (don’t worry I’ll try and keep it nice and balanced for you!).

First up is the Deep Clean Purifying Facial Wash by Una Brennan – I’d seen the range get a few mentions upon it’s release but nothing sucked me in until Megan featured one of the cleansers in her affordable skincare video. I opted for the purifying one as my skin can be quite easily clogged. A full review is on this way but so far, let’s just say I am loving it!

Next up are my moisture heroes – the Origins Make A Difference Plus moisturiser and Nuxe multi use oil. When you’re run down and blowing your nose 50 times a day these are definitely needed and have kept my skin looking healthy despite my insides telling a different story. I also have a new product form Clarins in the form of their Instant Eye Makeup Remover – today is the first day I’ve worn heavy eye makeup since purchasing this so I’m excited to see how it performs tonight!

Finally, I threw my Miss Dior Cherie into my suitcase before running to the car. It’s sweet, fresh and inoffensive and deserves a little more love from me over the next few weeks!

I've been loving the Superfacialist rose cleanser, it's so hydrating, it's amazing! I really wanna get that Origins moisturizer. I've been using my day moisturizer day and night and that's just not ideal! xx

Heard lots of good things about the Clarins make up remover and I absolutely LOVE the Origins moisturiser, you reminded me that I need to buy it again since I've used mine up, haha! Dior Chérie is such a nice, lightweight perfume; perfect for during the day! The Nuxe oil is definitely one of my favourite products, I think everyone needs it in their collection.

I've heard the Clarins make up remover is the Bees Knees. My Bioderma has run out so I'm looking for a more gentle alternative.
