The Sunday Post: An Unproductive Weekend

Today the fact that I’ve washed my hair and got dressed has been nothing short of a miracle. I might have gotten back in to bed 15 minutes later – but nether the less, progress has been made. This weekend is the definition of a lazy weekend – no blog prep, no video editing, i’m just having a semi weekend off blogging to do boring normal people things like watch Rugby and eat food. Normal service will resume next weekend – brownie promise.

01. Yesterday the boy and I took a leaf out of Essie (of Essiebutton)’s book and made grilled cheese sandwiches. They. Were. Too. Good. It’s been a long time since I made one and I don’t think I will wait that long ever again. Even Joshs little dog Dyan wanted a piece of the action. (Side note: he looks cute but inside he’s a little rascal sometimes!)

02. We had a little speedy shopping trip yesterday afternoon – a quest for the perfect new white t-shirt is on! – and I ended buying some dungarees and a Topshop lipstick in Brighton Rock – cannot wait to crack them both out for work tomorrow.

03. Over the past few days I’ve caught up on the whole of The Walking Dead season 3 (so far) I’m so unbelievably excited for the next one – I’m not even scared about it finishing either and I’m also super excited for Game of Thrones to start again at the end of March – so much good TV!

04. It’s worth noting that I have done nothing today except sitting in bed eating donuts, cookies and steak sandwiches… I need to go for a run stat – and stop eating cookies without a plate – my keyboard is littered with chocolate cookie crumbs. DOH! On the bright side I did do something slightly productive yesterday and updated my Blog Roll! Hopefully you’ll find some new blogs in there you haven’t come across yet.

It’s taken me a good two hours to write this (Oops) I think right now I might take my own good advice and walk the cookies off! (I’m also going to catch up on a ton of YouTube videos when I’m back so leave me your favourites below!) I hope all of you have had much more productive weekends than I have!

My morning hasn't been that productive either. Woke up at 7, went back to bed until 10:30, watched cartoons… haha. I saw Essiebutton's grilled cheese tutorial too, I've been craving for some ever since! Will be checking out your blogroll~

I did the same but pre bedtime as well! Fell asleep at 10:30, napped until 11:30 – bed at 2am – up at 8am but went back to sleep until 10:30. This is what weekends are for!
