The Sunday Post

A little late today, but I’m attempting to squeeze in my penultimate Sunday post of 2012! I’m super excited for Christmas now (after breaking up from work for a whole week and a half – I haven’t had a break this long over Christmas in five years) and have spent the day wrapping presents and making Christmas truffles. Since I was lacking in the whole “leaving the house” area, I opted for minimal make up, and simply touched up the essential areas.

I used my Real Techniques setting brush to cover dark circles under my eyes and to mask any scarring on my face, and then popped a smidge of the Nuxe Reve De Miel on my lips to keep them nice and moisturised. My eyebrows are a little wild at the start of the brow, so I quickly combed through them with the HD Brows Brow Beater and voila! Ready to take on the kitchen… Baking and wrapping complete and it’s time for me to apply my favourite Christmas nail polish this year, Essies Leading Lady just knocks any other polish out the park!

Make up aside, I have a few other little things to mention. First up, I filmed a Christmas tag! It’s one that you’ve probably seen many a blogger do this year already, but I’m so excited I just had to film it. It should be up tomorrow so keep an eye out.

Keeping with the festive theme, Josh and I went ice skating on Friday (to celebrate our six year anniversary – six years?! How the hell did that happen)! In Brighton they have a beautiful rink complete with fairy lights, a Christmas tree, and a Jamie Olivers restaurant for a post skating snack. If you haven’t been and you get the chance, you must! After ice skating and a glass of mulled wine, we made our way to GBK and munched out on the best burgers (jalapeno and cheese for me!) and then sauntered off home. It was definitely one of my favourite anniversary celebrations and made me feel so festive – perfection.

Well, that’s me all rambled out for the night, hope you have a lovely Christmas eve!

I love the look of that Essie nail polish!
I really wanted to try the Baies candle but there's no smell off it in the shop so I don't know what it will smell like when it's burning 🙂 x
