The Style Post: Firework Night

Topshop Jacket | Scarf (The Boys, but it’s Topman) | H&M Sweater | Zara Gold Oversized Shirt | Topshop Leigh Jeans | Debenhams Biker Boots | Zara Chain Bag | River Island Slouchy Bobble Hat

We’re currently at that beautiful time of year, it’s getting cold, but the novelty of wrapping up hasn’t gotten old yet (allowing us to have that extra slice of Pumpkin Loaf and not feel guilty), looking forward to the weekend because the chill is enough of an excuse to do absolutely nothing and exciting seasonal celebrations are coming at us left right and center. Fire work night is one of my favourites. For me it’s that marker that Christmas is on the way, and for the next month I’ll be reverting back to my 5 year old self, making lists and squealing at pretty lights.

It’s also a nice excuse to wrap up really warm for the evening, especially if you don’t spend too much time outside like I do. Although, I did forget to buy a pair of mittens in my Autumn shop and consequently my hands were like mini icicles! The above outfit is my ideal Firework Night outfit, okay, the scarf may have been traded in for one of my own that was substantially more fluffy and warm, but you get the jist, and it would make a good day time scarf if you’re not planning on spending your evening watching fireworks.

The final best thing about Firework Night? The tradition of Post Firework Burgers, this year we went to a little place where they serve heaven in a bun… but that’s a post for another day…

You look so beautiful. I specially love the boots. I'm jealous that you can wear clothes like that. Where I live it's always tropical weather so even during winter it's super hot.

Thank you, but don't be too jealous, it is very cold! 🙁
