As I sit here on a Friday night, with a belly full of Chinese food, I can’t quite believe I’m looking at a photo of my desk. But I thought I’d show you my girlie essentials that sit on my desk on a regular basis.
This month Glamour magazine is my read of choice on my lunch break, it’s not usually my go to magazine, but with Cheryl Cole gracing the front, I opted for it instead of my usual Elle. I also have a silly amount of train tickets, as I have a slight obsession with keeping tickets (you should see the shopping center pile in my car!). I also have my Soft Touch Notebook which I picked up from Sainsburys for a whopping £2 in the back to school offer. It’s a wider dupe for the moleskin diaries which are slightly too thin in width and I find it hard to keep my writing looking neat. The pages shown are actually my blogging planner pages, where I stick post it notes and cross them off once I’ve posted.
Cosmetic wise, I am never without my Nivea Milk and Honey lip balm. It smells lovely and is really creamy – great for the cold wintery days ahead. If i’m feeling fancy I’ve also been popping the Kate Moss Matte Lipstick in 107 over the top. It’s a beautiful dark raspberry red. On more pink toned lips, it looks more red, and on paler lips it looks very dark – just a heads up if you’re looking to buy it.
I also keep the Avene Cold Hand Cream on my desk at all times as my hands (well actually just my right hand) has a tendency to get very dry. You only need the tiniest amount so it lasts a very long time and if you over apply, boy will you know about it! It has a very strong granny smell… but I kind of like it as long as I don’t over apply. I also keep the Soap and Glory Hand Maid sanitizer on my desk, just in case we have a few winter germs going around.
And there you have it, it’s not as exciting as a what’s in my make up drawer post, but I keep more than just an over sized collection of highlighters (stationary nerd alert!) so I thought it was worth showing you!
Hope you all have a lovely weekend x
I love your bag studded

I also keep many of the same beauty essentials – hand cream, lipgloss, perfume, nail polish remover etc – on my desk and always get in trouble for having a messy desk!! How can people not understand I NEED these things?! That's what happens when you work in a male dominated office!! X

Love post it note idea, so clever 🙂
I love looking inside people's notebooks. I always want to keep an organised blogging notebook but either I'm too organised and don't need any reminding, or I'm too lazy and disorganised to keep one up cos every time I attempt it I fail! x
I love the studded bag!!
the studded bag is so nice! your blogging book looks so organised 🙂 x

This was a really good idea for a post, love having a nosey at what others keep at work! My office is very male-dominated so I've kept my essentials to a minimal so far – basically lip balm and hand cream! I am a big stationery geek too though, and thanks for the heads up on the moleskine dupes! Shall be picking one up when I next head to sainsbury's xxx
