Cleansing Routine

Since my skincare routine has recently become far too vast and varied to explain in one post, I’m splitting it up and starting with my cleansing routine. These are literally the items I use to remove my make up, no toning or face masks in this post folks!

On a day to day basis, I use the Bioderma crealine H20 solution to remove my make up before using my cleanser. I use this combination for days when I’m wearing my standard make up, but I use Bioderma as a stand alone cleanse if i’ve been in the house all day an haven’t worn a scrap of make up. It’s so gentle on my skin an I love it for removing eye makeup as I try to avoid using harsh products on such a delicate area of skin.

The cleanser I use pretty much every day is the Simple moisturising face wash. Yes, it’s skincare benefits are probably a 0, but my skin reacts so well to this, it helps to reduce the amount of spots I have and it’s really affordable.

Now, the cardinal sin that is a packet of face wipes is making an appearance today, but for one situation only: heavy makeup. For those days when a cotton pad is too small, I pop some bioderma onto a face wipe and attempt to remove things like waterproof mascara on my face, once it’s all off I follow up with my normal cleanser.

Now, annoyingly, I’m one of those people who picks up bioderma from France as it works out cheaper than buying online, so I have no idea of decent online retailers, but Anna (link) has an eBay seller who she really rates so pop on over there if you’re interested. Overall I’m really happy with this combination, it really makes me look forward to coming home, putting my hair in a pineapple and clearing the crap off my face!

Facewipe are only really bad of that's all you use, it's clear you take care of your skin! I would really like to try bioderma but for now I'm using No7 cleansing water. Great post, looking forward to the rest of your skin care series! Xo

I love Bioderma 🙂 I have the one for oily combination skin! I stopped using makeup wipes a couple of months ago as they always make my skin sting xo
