August Favourites

Bioderma crealine H20 solution | Caudalie lip balm | Origins out of trouble mask | Laura Mercier blush in Lush Nectarine | Origins super spot remover | Revlon Grow Luscious mascara | YSL Luxurious mascara | Orly Holla nail polish | Essie Meet Me at Sunset nail polish

I missed my favourites last month as I felt a bit uninspired by the items I’d been using. Luckily this month I’ve found lots of new and old things to love.

I’ve been using face masks like there’s no tomorrow, I’m already over a quarter of the way through the Origins out of trouble mask – if you have oily skin and get the big ol’ nasty painful spots – get this. Best £20 I’ve ever spent! I’ve been really loving bioderma and the Origins super spot remover too, even though I use them every month they definitely deserve a mention for being consistently amazing. I’ve also used up and repurchased a whole Caudalie lip balm, it smells like vanilla, and completely cleared up my lip issues – is it worth £5 for a small tube? Hells yeah!

At the beginning of this month, I swore to myself I would purchase the full size of the YSL luxurious mascara, but after watching one of barbaras old videos (link), I decided to dig out my unloved Revlon grow luscious. It’s not so unloved anymore. For blush, I used the Laura Mercier second skin cheek colour in lush nectarine pretty much every day. Keep an eye out for next months though, there’s a new blusher in my make up bag now! Finally, I fell in love with orange nail polish, Essie meet me at sunset was a regular at the start of the month, whilst Orly holla, took the reigns for the last two weeks!

Oh, and my favourite album was most definitely Alt J Tessellate, I don’t know why I didn’t buy it sooner – it’s amazing.

Unlike so many others, I’m kind of happy that August is over. September is a really exciting month for me, not only does it mean my birthday is a month away, but I’m also going to France next week *girley squeal*!

I love Caudalie products so will definitely try the lip balm. I also have one of those Revlon mascaras to try so it's good to hear a positive review. Both nail polishes look lovely and Bioederma Crealine is a permanent favourite for me too.

I love digging out things from the bottom of bags and drawers that I used to love!

Working at a school means I face September with a certain amount of dread that it's back to work, but it also means fresh starts and a new Autumn wardrobe so I'm very much looking forward to it! Enjoy France x

Hope you have a fab time in France. You going to pop into the phamacys? I think that I might need the lip balm especially with winter just around the corner
    xx

The Orly shade is beautiful. I want to try the Origins spot remover but I very rarely get spots so I am not sure it would be worth it! xo

Love the look of the Essie polish, I will definitely have to add that to my collection. 🙂
