Monday Night Pamper Products

Monday’s are usually crazy at work, and throughout the day the one thought that gets me by is the prospect of a hot bath, a lot of skincare TLC and an early night. For most people this is a Sunday ritual, however my weekends are usually spent with my boyfriend so there’s less beauty/blogger time. In addition to my Lush bath, foot pedicure and painting my nails, there are a few key products that I throw in to give my skin a little bit of a kick.

After my bath, the first thing I do is wash my face (I do this outfit the bath as the Lush products can sometimes irritate – using the Simple face wash as always), I then pop on the Apivita Express Beauty with Honey Face Mask. I leave this on for 10 minutes (5 for any sensitive areas… *cough* eczema *cough*) and after my skin is just glowing and so moisturised! I got these samples in my Glossybox but I’m going to have to repurchase them because I love this mask! I wipe the mask off with my muslin cloth and then give one last rinse of cold water to close the pours.

Next up, I pop a little gradual tan on to boost the left overs of my current holiday tan. The St. Tropez one is a beaut! I’ve previously tried the Dove gradual tan but it makes me look like something out of Twilight and is just not made for my skin tone, I think it might make more of a difference to lighter skin tones? Anyway, I slap this on my whole body and then toddle off to wash my hands (this stuff really will make your hands orange if you leave it on!). Next day I’m lovely and brown! Along with my standard skincare routine I also use the last two products: the Origins Super Spot Remover is layered on top of any yuckies that are rearing their ugly heads, and after my serums I pat on a few sprays of the Nuxe Multi Purpose Oil – this makes my skin look so healthy in the morning!

As a result of this routine, Tuesday morning is normally a good skin day, especially after the early night. I’m definitely looking forward to the last part. On that note…

A Monday pamper night is an amazing idea, I may steal it! I've tried the Dove gradual tan too and it made me yellow haha, not a nice tan colour at all and I'm super pale, apparently the darkest one works better for lighter skin tones. Love the sound of the Nuxe oil xx

Monday night is a perfect night to pamper I think! But I do love a Sunday pamper, more so because I can spend all afternoon doing it if I have a free day 😉

    xx

You have a great after-bath routine. Any mask with honey sounds good to me.

I love the Nuxe oil! I have the Golden shimmer one and it's great for a night out when you apply it on your legs and decolletage 🙂 x
