Bath Time Essentials

I’ll be the first to admit, if I were an animal, I’d be a cat – I hate baths and showers, and swimming, and the rain… I just don’t like water! I don’t even know why. So it takes a lot to make me look forward to having one! The products below have made me enjoy bath times so much that it has actually become the first thing I want to do when I’m home form work. Amazing right!? I sound like a child but it’s true!

I couldn’t love the Simple Face Wash more if I tried, it just feels like it draws all the nastys out of my skin and really helps with spots. It’s probably not the kindest product on the skin, but I just make sure to use a good moisturiser after so it doesn’t dry out. I also really love the L’Occitaine almond shower oil for if I’m in need of a real good pampering, it smells lovely and makes my skin so soft! I wouldn’t use it every single day as it is rather pricey. My most favourite bath items are the Pink Cow bath gels, they can be used as a show gel or bubble bath and they smell amazing! The one above is Mint Candy, and I also have Vanilla Biscuit in my upstairs bathroom, and they are both so good – I would even go as far as to say they are better than the Philosophy shower gels, especially when they cost under £3 in Boots! I also love my strawberry scrub I picked up from Boots, it is so nice for exfoliating my skin and I get far less spots on my body as a result!

As always, I light a little mini Yankee Candle in Vanilla Cupcake and occasionally pop in a lush bath bomb (hence the pink water) and I’m ready to jump in! Let me know your bath time favourites below as I love your recommendations!

I love L'occitane! This shower oil is amazing, have you tried body oil from the same range? The smell is delicious 🙂 Love your blog and videos, you seem like a lovely person 🙂

I think I'm the same when it comes to water! I always procrastinate when I have to shower or wash my hair, but I think the products you use can definitely make everyday tasks a lot more fun. I had my first bath in ages (I'm more of a shower person) and forgot how relaxing it was to just sit in a warm tub of foamy bubbles and soak your troubles away! I really love Lush products for making my bath water colourful and fun!

I've been hearing quite a bit about the L'occitane shower oil! I may need to give it a go. I'm the same as you I hate baths, I prefer showers but I have to have some extra special products for bath time to draw me in. I'd have to say Lush products are my poison when having a bath but I think I may need to branch out a bit.

I adore baths and have one every night before bed, I do love Lush products especially for making bathtime a bit more relaxing but the Pink Cow products sound amazing so I think I'll have to pick some of those up too! I love Yankee Candles, perfect for lighting when you're planning a long soak! X
