Bumble and Bumble Sunday Shampoo

This shampoo lies quite close to my heart. I think I’d decided we were meant to be before I bought it as it was marketed at “infrequent washers”. Anyone who knows me knows that is the word to describe my haircare routine!

Bumble and Bumble can be quite hard to get hold of in different parts of
the UK, but I actually found a new retailer in Brighton that sells the
entire range! Simon Webster Hair is located on Gardner Street in the center of Brighton and only opened a few weeks ago. I’m already booking myself in to have my hair cut there, and I’m expecting very good things. The salon owner was the dad of a girl who went to my college (who, I will just add, always had beautiful hair!) and in the recent years has been doing very well and styled Adeles hair for UK Vouge! I’m expecting good things and will do a review after my next appointment.

I noticed the range in the Salon after I walked past on my lunch break a few days ago, and I’m not going to lie to you I was so excited at the thought of not having to pay for delivery! I snapped up the Sunday Shampoo, as Anna has mentioned it recently and after doing my research I decided it would be perfect for my hair. ** Hair type info: My hair is naturally quite fine and wavey (think surfer waves) and because of the colour and type it doesn’t appear to be greasy very quickly. Because of this I tend to push how long I can leave my hair, and then some (dry shampoo after day 3 or 4 is my best friend!). So a shampoo that will keep it cleaner for an extra day is something I’m interested in.**

Everything about this shampoo reminds me of when I was younger and used to use washing up liquid on my hair (guilty – I just hate washing my hair!) without the obvious harmful chemicals – it even has the same smell. But the similarities kind of make sense to me, as the outcome is the same. It’s quite expensive for a shampoo, but if it makes the washes more infrequent than they already are then i’ll barely use it so it’s fine 😉

Bumble and bumble are a range that I really want to try more of, their thickening spray and straight hair range have both caught my eye, and I’m hoping they’ll use a couple when I go and get my hair cut. I’m really excited that it’s now available in Brighton – maybe I can finally create a more polished hair care routine!?

Bumble and bumble retails in store as the same prices as online so I picked up this baby for a whopping £15. Will I buy more? Watch this space…

This sounds like a great shampoo, but not for me! I love washing my hair! Mm, I find it so relaxing… There's so many bits I want to try by Bumble and Bumble too.

On a side note, I keep meaning to venture out of London one Saturday and experience the delights of Brighton. I've never been but I want to so badly! x

Ha! I'm the same about washing my hair. It's insanely thick and long, so it takes like an entire day to dry (or so long to blow dry that my arm aches like crazy), so I try to put it off as much as I can! Luckily it doesn't really seem to get greasy because of the thickness, I usually wash it every 3rd day.

This sounds fab! Does it dry your hair out though?

It doesn't dry mine out, but that not to say it will be the same for everyone, like many clarifying shampoos it's also not for frequent use anyway otherwise it probably will x

I've tried their thickening shampoo and did't notice any effect to my thin hair:( But idea of Sunday shampoo sounds attractive 😉 Thanks! Have a nice day!
