I think I’m in denial about the fact it’s already April, every time I went to write the date today I couldn’t seem to bring myself to put “04” down. I don’t know why I’m even in denial as April (with the exception of October) is actually my favourite month of the entire year! But anyway, you’re here because you want to know what my March Favourites were, right?
Collection 2000 (or is it just “Collection” now?) Fast Stroke Liquid Eyeliner
Since mid January I’ve rediscovered my love for my liquid eyeliner, ask anyone who knows me, winged eyeliner is pretty much my signature make up look, it really does make my eyes “pop” if you’ll excuse the hideously overused term!
Laura Mercier Second Skin Cheek Colour – Lush Nectarine
I LOVE this, ever since I saw it on Anna, I knew it was for me, it looks so pretty regardless of how much of a tan I have, pastey or glowing – it makes all skin tones look nice! It also has a slight shimmer, which i’m really loving at the moment, I’ve moved over from matt products in search of the “glowing” look and this really helps me in my quest!
Viktor and Rolf Flower Bomb (S/S Edition)
I can never remember what the exact name of this is, but the smell is amazing! It smells orangey, and is perfect for spring/summer. I think they re-release it in the spring/summer months, so it’s probably on sale now if you’re interested 🙂
Bastise XXL Volume
I’m not going to beat around the bush here, I am not a fan of washing my hair (lets not get started on that though..) and on the days where I really cannot be bothered, this is my godsend. I put it on before I go to bed to let it all sink in, the next day it looks non greasy and is so manageable – even more so than when my hair has been washed!
Avon Supercurl Mascara
This is my favourite mascara by far right now, it really helps to separate and create volume on the eyelashes but is also so gentle – so I loose less eyelashes when removing it, and therefore a month of using this gives them even more volume! It’s around £5 from Avon and worth every penny.
Elf Contour and Blush
I’m trying to use this up, and before the little heatwave hit the UK, this was my go to bronzing shade, however, now I have a little more colour to my face I like to use my mac MSFN, but I do still find myself going back to this a lot.
Rimmel Professional Eyebrow Pencil
Two things I have to do before I leave the house: dab concealer on my eyes and fill in my eyebrows! It really annoys me when people miss these out – to me it is just essential and I don’t understand why you wouldn’t, it frames your whole face and is so quick! I love the rimmel eyebrow pencil at the moment as its just really easy to get the exact shape I want.
MUA Lipstick Shade 14
This is my perfect nude, I don’t think I need to say too much more… oh and it’s £1!
Real Techniques Stippling Brush
I love this for my concealer, its so quick to blend in and is the perfect size. I don’t think I would ever use this for foundation as it would take too long for my liking, but for concealer its spot on!
Loreal Touche Magique
An “illuminating concealer” I use the colour beige rose to cancel out the grey circles that sometimes appear under my eyes, and then use my collection 2000 one over the top. I also dab a small amount in the corners of my eyes and blend in, just to brighten them up a bit more. Works a treat!
And voila! My super speedy post on my monthly favourites. I haven’t blogged much recently (I even missed my Sunday Post, which is weird for me) I’ve gone straight form my old job to my new job, so I’m a little tired and when I get home I just want to have time to spend with the lovely people in my life (or in my bed…). Anyway hopefully I’ll be back this week with a fair few more posts as I took photos for them this evening, but as always if there’s anything you want to see then do pop it in the comments!
