Just to start with Follow my blog with Bloglovin This is just for anyone who doesn’t use blogger/google so they can follow me 🙂 anyway…..
So a few of you might remember me saying that I went out to celebrate one of my favorite people’s big 2-0 on Monday night… Yep a work night, and I now swear by the origins Ginzing eye cream to avoid freakishly puffy eyes! It was an amazing night, which ended with massive disgusting burger and cheesy chips and a lock in at the birthday girls pub. At first I wasn’t looking forward to getting ready but after discovering an amazing new foundation combination (link here) I actually really enjoyed getting ready and wore the following on my face:
Products used:
Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum (shade 51) and Chanel Mat Lumiere Foundation (40 beige)
Split half and half, this is amazing, for some reason Healthy Mix seemed to make Chanel better and I will swear by this until I run out of Mat Lumiere. As you can see in the photo below I appear spot free – which I can promise you was not the case!
Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer
All round amazing any way, but really brightens up tired eyes after a long day at work.
Collection 2000 Fast Stroke Liquid Eyeliner
I’ve used this for 5 years – its so long wearing and easy to apply I don’t see the point in buying any other, and its about £3!
Mac Lipstick – Lovelorn
I just dabbed this on and blended in with a bit of Vasaline to give my lips a nice rosey colour.
Mac MSFN Sunpower
All time favorite bronzer, gives a really nice matte holiday glow and really makes me feel ready for a night out.
Cinique Daybreak (lid) and Mac All That Glitters (crease)
The nicest eyeshadow mix, it really makes my eyes look huge!
MUA Shade 1 – Pearl
I love highlighting the inner corners of my eyes with this, its so shimmery and perfect for nights out.
Mascara
I can’t really remember which mascaras I used (naughty suz!) – I think it was a mix of Rimmel Day 2 Night and Avons Super Curl Mascara, just because I’m trying to use the Avon one up.
Below you can sort of see what it all looks like on my face (I didn’t take my fancy camera out for obvious reasons so this is just you standard snap). Oh and the guy next to me is my boyfriend Josh, he’s a 2nd year student at Sussex University and we’ve been together for 5 years.
So there you have it, if you liked this kind of post let me know and I’ll try to do more when I do go out (I usually forget before I go out).
Hope you’ve all had a lovely weekend!

Thanks hun 🙂 – I think it is a really good foundation for the price, I haven't really tried too many high street ones, but I'm really looking forward to giving this a proper road test! x
So gorgeous! I really love how you presented the products in the first picture. The photography is so beautiful!
