Mini Haul

To put it simply, I haven’t been saving. But from now on I promise i’m on a budget until the new year (i’ll let you know how I get on with that one!) It all starts with leaving the debit card at home! But anyway, I bought a couple of new nail varnishes, and then had a little spend up in Mac (bad Suzie! *slaps wrist*).

OPI in Excuse Moi

Topshop nail polish – unknown colour

MAC (from left to right) Quarry and Malt

It took me ages to remember the names of the shades of these, one of which I can’t find. The bubblegum pink I purchased from Topshop is no longer on the website and has nothing on the bottom, the girl in the shop was even convinced they weren’t sold outside of a Christmas gift set, but after being shown them blantantly on the shelves she had no choice but to sell it to me – which was good as I wasn’t leaving without it.

The OPI nail varnish was a last minute purchase for me, as I was just randomly browsing ASOS, and saw that they were being sold for £8, this and super shopper (its called something like that) free delivery made it dirt cheap in comparison to paying £10.50 for it on my lunch break in town. Although the delivery is cheap you can often have a weeks wait for you item, but mine was ordered Thursday and arrived Saturday! (I would also just like to point out I also ordered it after 5pm so it took the same amount of time as next day delivery)! Needless to say I was impressed and it has definitely made me want to shop through ASOS more.

My last purchase was a bit needless or much needed depending on how you look at it. I’d been lusting after these colours for so long now and I thought it was about time I stopped dreaming and starting buying. These colours not only look great with each other (Malt on the lid and Quarry in the crease) but they also mix so well with Naked and Buck from the Naked Pallet! Although they are similar I went with these as they have a slight lilac undertone, which is something the Naked Pallet doesn’t provide. I also purchased a quad pallet for them as I think they look much cuter and more sleek than the set of 15 pallet (plus I would never have the need for 15 more eyes shadows!) But I think I would like to continue filling this pallet and maybe another quad with similar colours.

Geeze, I can’t believe I wrote this much, but I am seriously in love with these items so please forgive me!

Hope everyone had a good weekend!

Suzie xo

Nice color – the OPI polish. Rich and glittery.
